Ghost Stories, Inc. loves October! There is an abundance of creepy shows and classic horror movies to watch on TV, kiddos are picking out the perfect costume for trick-or-treating, and we get to plan a ghost hunt or two!
This month, our favorite director, Joshua Sterling Bragg, is coming to Minneapolis from New York City for a week of filming for the documentary we are working on that will feature Ghost Stories, Inc. We’ll also be the featured paranormal group speaking at the #1 horror convention in Minnesota, Crypticon Minneapolis! These guys always pull together a great show, and GSI is honored to be featured with the likes of Cory Feldman, Eric Roberts and a slew of other actors, writers, directors, producers and special effects/makeup specialists for movies such as Friday the 13th, Gremlins, The Addams Family, and many more!
Copies of the horror anthology Death Awaits, which features three members of our group, Jessica Freeburg, Sean Spinks and Joshua Sterling Bragg will be available for purchase (and we can even sign them for ya’!). 🙂 Horrorizons, featuring the art of Sean Spinks and Scott Spinks will also be there, along with FATE Magazine (for which Jessica Freeburg is honored to be on staff as an editor).
It’s a fun event, and if you’ve never been to a horror convention, I encourage you to check it out! If you come Friday night, you can catch our group talking about what we do and how paranormal investigations inspire us as writers and artists. And, if you’re feeling brave, you can even join our group on a ghost hunt at one of our favorite historical homes in St. Paul, The Manor! We’ve been to the Manor several times and always feel lucky to be invited back.
Tickets for The Manor investigation are limited. You can purchase them by clicking HERE. And tickets for Crypticon Minneapolis can be purchased HERE.
We’d love to see you there! And if you attend Crypticon, please stop by, say “hi” and snap a quick picture with us! We’ll feature our photos from the weekend here and on our Facebook page!

I’m so excited to share my favorite blog post from my favorite ghost hunting group! Okay, I’m a bit biased. It’s MY ghost hunting group (Ghost Stories, Inc.) and I wrote the blog post. But instead of rewriting what I already done wrote (why reinvent the wheel, right?), I’m just going to share the post with you here! Happy first Friday of October!
